KRA’s Louisville Chapter sits at the heart of Kentucky’s hospitality industry. As the largest chapter of the Kentucky Restaurant Association, we proudly represent a diverse and accomplished group of restaurants and caterers. Louisville offers every dining experience imaginable, from iconic neighborhood breakfast spots to nationally recognized fine-dining destinations. No matter how you say it, Louisville, Loo-uh-vul, or Looeyville; this is a city built on hospitality.

Our chapter is deeply engaged in the community and committed to increasing the value of KRA membership. Through media partnerships, digital features, and community events, we promote our restaurant and catering members at no additional cost while highlighting the people, businesses, and talent that make Louisville’s culinary scene so special.

Service is also central to our mission. The Louisville Chapter supports local charities, workforce development programs, and community initiatives that directly benefit Kentucky families. Events such as our Annual Sporting Clays Fundraiser and Firecracker Golf Scramble continue to grow, raising valuable funds for youth programs, scholarships, and community partners.

Each fall, we host one of the city’s signature culinary traditions, The Taste of Louisville. For more than 50 years, this event has brought together the best of Louisville’s restaurants and caterers for an unforgettable evening of food, drinks, and entertainment. Over the years, the Taste has generated more than $500,000 for scholarships and local charities, helping support both our community and the next generation of Kentucky’s culinary professionals.

Looking ahead, the Louisville Chapter of KRA remains focused on advocacy, workforce development, and creating a stronger business environment for restaurant and catering operators. We are committed to ensuring every member has a voice at the state level and access to the relationships, resources, and support they need to succeed.
